Warning label generator, etc...

I liked this! As much as I love being the mom of boys, living with three boys (counting my husband) can be a messy affair at times, and I am SURE it will get worse as the years go by. So, designing a warning label for that was fun...The concert ticket generator was fun too. What will they think of next!!

Better late than never...

Del.icio.us....mmmm,mmmm, mmmm....

Ok, so I liked working with del.icio.us. It was pretty user friendly and easy to set up. I think it will really come in handy with keeping all of my favorites straight, AND being able to access them anytime, anywhere. I realized I visit a LOT of forums...and most of them are kid related...imagine that, with me having a 2 and a half year old and a 6 and a half month old. It did take a while to search around and figure everything out, but I think it was worth it!!

Umm, yeah...about the Wiki

Well, Amanda and I *thought* the Wiki would be easy. We decided to do a collaborative Wiki about our department over here in the MCL. PB Wiki did NOT want to play nice with us. Maybe it was feeling combative since it's Friday, or maybe WE had just had too long of a week, but the three of us (myself, Amanda and PBWiki) did NOT have a fun playdate today. Despite that fact, we persevered and taa-daah...our Wiki exists....

Friday Fun! RSS feeds and Wiki...Oh MY!!

So, I finally got around to completing this weeks assignment. Setting up my Bloglines/RSS feeds part was cake. (hmmm...cake...yep, it's lunchtime...)I included feeds for Blue 2.0 (of course) as well as feeds for info on animals, kiddos, food, music, news and literature. I guess that covers a broad range, but hey, I'm interested in a lot of things. As time goes by, I will probably go in and tweak my feeds and add and delete some, but as it stands...assignment done!!

In the beginning...

Blogger is a very user-friendly tool for blogging, and the free aspect of it always helps too! This is actually my third active blog. I also have one dedicated to my youngest son, Killian, who is almost 6 months old now, and then one that is dedicated to all the things that irritate and annoy me. So, I guess in a sense, i'm an old pro at the Blogging world...LOL!
Instant messaging is an everyday occurrence with me also. Not only is it a great way to pester co-workers when questions arise without tying up the phone lines or wearing out the tread on my shoes, but it enables me to keep up with friends and family that are scattered all over the place. I'm looking forward to honing the skills I already possess as well as learning more about some of the technology I am not as familiar with during the Blue 2.0 adventure.

My name is Trina, and I am secluded down here in the dungeon of the Medical Center Library. We don't have windows, except on our computers, but it keeps life interesting!
